the concert had plenty of energy. we went in part for my first weekend back in dc. i wish people in dc would dance more ebulliently like new york people. but in all fairness, would somebody please erase all references to thievery corporation as "dance" music." it is "lounge" or "groove" but there is music out there obviously more "dance" and thievery doesn't belong in that sweat-tastic, cathartic club house.
also stay off Merriweather's lower lawn after a 10 PM torrential downpout: mudslides.
